ANC Top Five Meeting

Mpumalanga ANC Top Five held a meeting at the “residence of the chairperson” on 7 December 2008. Some interesting decisions were taken, including the decision that Jimmy Mohlala must be removed as the Speaker of the Mbombela Local Municipality. Mohlala declined and made a successful submission to the ANC head office Luthuli House, and an instruction from LuthuliHouse was the he stays put. A month later he was killed.
